Hapke’s Hortum is a boutique houseplant store located in the heart of Old Colorado City on Colorado Avenue. This surely ain’t no “big box” store, our owner Clay selects and sells only the finest boutique style plants for Colorado habitats —  Bonus, they partner with local makers and vendors to stylize the plants with custom pottery, macrame crafts, quirky gifts, and recycled or repurposed pieces.

Hapke’s Hortum was founded in 2023 by partners Clay Hapke, Lauren McKenzie and Joseph Campana. Today, the shop is fully operated by Clay Hapke, find him behind the register, teaching workshops, or consulting across town.
